Sore throat season

is here!! I go through this every year. Every year I get about a dozen sore throats. It started yesterday and has only gotten worse. I woke up this morning in terrible pain, could barely swallow and my voice sounded horrible. I also have a slight headache, chills and a slight fever.  It feels like there is a pile of razor blades caught in my throat and stabbing me anytime I talk, swallow or breathe. Seeing that I have to talk all day, everyday at both of my jobs this is not a good thing.

Hopefully sitting quiet today and drinking lots of water will help out and tomorrow won’t be too horrible at work. I think I’m going to lay back down and hope to feel better when I get up.

GO AWAY SORE THROAT, GO AWAY!!

Busy girl

I’ve been so busy with work that I haven’t been working with this blog as much as I wanted to. My work schedule is nothing short of insane. At night when I get home, I just sit on the couch and do nothing. Needless to say, nothing is getting done.  I have a huge pile of laundry, my kitchen is a mess, my bathroom is a mess. I’ve been just working and sleeping. I need to find a way to get my house in order and get to do the things I want to do. Including writing more. I love to write but just can never seem to actually get it done.

All the leaves are changing colors and it’s a beautiful time here but I haven’t been able to get out and take some pictures like I want to. Hopefully this weekend I’ll be able to do that.

So my goal for this week is to be more productive when I get home at night. Hopefully I’ll get stuff done around the house, have more time to write and spend time catching up with friends.

Think Pink

My friends Laura, Sasha and I decided to do a photography challenge. With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness month, we decided to go with a pink theme. All pictures will be with a pink item. 

I am lacking on the creativity this week and decided to photography  my favorite pink item. My pink Blackberry Curve. It’s the cutest shade of light pink. Pink being my favorite color as soon as I saw it, I had to have it.
